IMPORTANT NOTE: The alcohols listed in our Advanced Conditioning Treatment and Moisture Emphasis Conditioner are not the same chemical make-up as SDA 40 alcohol, which is found in most hairsprays. SDA 40 alcohol is used specifically as a drying agent so that wet sprays dry quickly, and can also promote dryness in the hair. The alcohols listed in Verifen Complex products do not promote dryness, but are wax-like fatty acids, used as bonding agents to help make the formulas more cohesive.

ADVANCED CONDITIONING TREATMENT

VERIFEN COMPLEX Advanced Conditioning Treatment is an exceptional way to saturate dry hair with smoothing deep-penetrating replenishers, Enriched with Panthenol (Pro-vitamin B-5), it is highly beneficial for hair and scalp, refreshing both with a comprehensive moisturizing complex. This luxurious treatment provides genuine help for dry, damaged or abused hair, revitalizing it with a soft manageability.

Directions: After shampooing with VERIFEN COMPLEX Shampoo, rinse hair and lightly towel-dry. Apply enough conditioning treatment to coat hair, including the ends. Gently work treatment into scalp as well. Cover hair with a plastic cap for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse out very thoroughly with warm water. For an easier comb-out follow with VERIFEN COMPLEX Detangling Spray Conditioner.

BENEFICIAL PHASE SHAMPOO

Verifen Complex Beneficial Phase Shampoo is thick with conditioning emollients. It is a unique blend of key essentials, including botanicals (natural extracts) and vitamin E. It is the first important step in the complete VERIFEN COMPLEX hair conditioning process. It gently conditions as it cleans, so that hair is never stripped or depleted after shampooing. For best results, follow with VERIFEN COMPLEX Advanced Conditioning Treatment (for thicker, coarser hair) or Detangling Spray Conditioner (for very fine, limp hair).

DIRECTIONS: Wet hair with warm water. Apply Shampoo and work in evenly and thoroughly from scalp to ends, using gentle message and adding more warm water. Although lather may not be full with the first application (as dirt and buildup are being removed), work shampoo well into the hair. Rinse well with warm water. Repeat application and bring to a full lather. Rinse again thoroughly. CONSTANT CARE FOR ENDS

Constant Care for Ends is a conditioning supplement that provides moisture and extra protection for dry, delicate ends. When used daily, it effectively retards ends from splitting, while adding a healthy shine. It also shields ends when straightening with heat implements, helping to make them smoother. For best maintenance trim away unhealthy ends.

Directions: Apply to the ends by gently working in with fingertips until creme is absorbed into the strands, and ends feel smooth. Do not over-apply. Experiment to find out what amount is right for your hair. If length permits, style hair “up” after application (tucking ends away) so that ends are even more protected. For product to maintain its original consistency, refrigerate or store in cool place.

DETANGLING SPRAY CONDITIONER

This beautifully silky solution is formulated to ease strand tension during comb-out, helping to prevent unnecessary hair loss due to breakage. It simplifies the grooming process by eliminating coarseness and stiffness, making hair easier to handle. Whether used alone, as a light conditioner after shampooing, or used following VERIFEN COMPLEX Advanced Conditioning Treatment, this finishing spray is a vital follow-up each time you wash your hair.

Directions: After rinsing shampoo or conditioner, slightly towel dry hair (avoid vigorous rubbing that may tangle or break hair.) Wet hair well with spray and carefully detangle. A long toothed metal pick or metal “cake-cutter” type comb is good for detangling (tip of metal teeth should be rounded, not blunt.) If any hair starts to dry, re-wet with spray before detangling. Continue with styling.

HAIR LINE ESSENTIAL CRÈME

Hairline Essential Crème is a wonderful solution to several hairline problems. It is the perfect way to smooth down broken and unruly hairs and keep them in place. As a protectant, it conditions and fortifies the hairline and keeps it from being dry. It replaces dullness with a beautiful shine and adds refinement and luster to this fragile section of hair.

Directions: Place a small amount of creme on fingertip and apply to front edge of hairline. Smooth crème away from face into hair about an inch back. Repeat until hairline and back nape hair is softly coated. To help edges stay in place, smooth a wide cotton headband over hairline after applying crème. Leave on 15 minutes or even over night.

OIL FOR THE HAIR

An important oil that coats the hair with a brilliant shine without being too heavy or greasy. Protects hair against the dryness of the air, helping to condition the strand and prevent ends from splitting. Good on both natural and processed hair.

DIRECTIONS: Apply once or twice daily. Start with an amount the size of a dime, add more if needed. Lightly coat all of the hair by gently working oil in, especially the ends. Use also when blow-drying or straightening hair with heat implements.

DIRECTIONS: Avoid contact with clothing. Lightly spray hair and braids (several braids at a time), including the ends. Work oil in by gently smoothing spray into braids all along the length. Repeat application whenever braids feel dry.

Cover head with a plastic cap and leave on for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water for a clean rinse.
